ARRC Engine vs. manual expert recommendations
Under 20 seconds. 30+ parameters. Personalized to each child.

The National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Bengaluru, brings together specialised care, education and research in mental health and neurosciences.
Home to a WHO Collaborating Centre for Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion, NIMHANS received the WHO Nelson Mandela Award for Health Promotion in 2024. The institute also lists recognition in Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals in 2021 and 2022.
ARRC Engine vs. a child psychologist’s manual workflow
A 2022 exploratory comparison documented by Dr Uma H, Senior Professor of Clinical Psychology at NIMHANS, found that Parentof’s engine generated faster, more personalized and more holistic developmental activity recommendations than the manual child-psychologist workflow evaluated.
The comparison involved children aged 6–13. Each child was assessed through Parentof’s application and a direct online interview with a child psychologist. Reports and activity recommendations from both approaches were compared. The findings were documented on 13 July 2022.
| Dimension | Parentof’s ARRC Engine* | Child psychologist’s manual approach in this study |
|---|---|---|
| Recommendation turnaround | Under 20 seconds | 2 days |
| Parameters considered per recommendation | 30+ | 3–4 |
| Activity personalization | Individualized frequency, intensity, speed and time—the FIST model | Equivalent personalization was not achieved manually |
| Developmental coverage | Activities addressed 3 or more developmental areas simultaneously | An equivalent domain count is not reported |
| Recommendation suitability | Described as more appropriate and holistic | Served as the manual comparator |
*The original 2022 document calls it the “ARC Engine.” These findings concern the specific comparison, not the capabilities of child psychologists generally.
What this benchmark shows
The comparison highlights the engine’s speed and depth of personalization when generating developmental activity recommendations. It evaluates a recommendation workflow.

400Mn data points. 50,000+ longitudinal users. A decade of learning.
These company-reported figures describe the foundation of ARRC. This exploratory comparison evaluates a specific recommendation workflow; the platform-wide dataset is distinct from this evaluation.
